BOO HOO :(

Remember those cute pumpkins Adi and Luke picked out at Hee Haw Farm last week?
Well, Saturday we took them to my friend Emily's new house and they did some super cool painting on them...

Adi had a very colorful, polk-a-dotty theme, and she even added some ribbon around the bottom as a dress...
Luke had a scary black and yellow swirl theme going on...and then we brought them home and proudly displayed them on our front steps for all the "hood" to see....
Uhhh, nope! Your eyes are definitely not betraying you and I didn't post the wrong picture, and no, they aren't in dads car (luke checked) - somebody's "hood"lums stole those cute pumpkins right off our front steps! Definitely a very, very, very sad day!
All I can say is..."hey dumb kids! Next time walk up 2 more steps and take the ones that haven't {OBVIOUSLY} been lovingly decorated by little kids!"

That's terrible! I know years from now you will laugh about this but I would be so mad. The sad thing is they are probably splattered on the road somewhere. Bah Humbug to those who spoil Halloween!

How lame! Stinkin kids. What can be fun about doing that? And why sell your soul for a smashed pumpkin?

What an unfortunate story! I'm so sorry about punk kids & your cute personalized pumpkins! Cute steps & porch though.

Ang is so sweet "what an unfortunate story" ...and here I'm thinking that those stealers are lucky they don't have an irate grandma to deal with! I'd like to do a little "hocus pocus" on them!
Maybe we should all think kind thoughts like maybe someone took the pumpkins so that they could make a pumpkin pie for the homeless...
I love you all!

well, if i were going to burn in hell for theft, i sure as heck wouldn't waste my time on a few cute little pumpkins! i mean, it would have to be something really big...although, the fact that they (the pumpkins) were so lovingly created by children, makes the crime much more severe...so i sure hope the thieves like it hot...very, very hot!!
and yes, they are very lucky sister sue wasn't there to catch them. which brings us to this subject...lesli...why is it you can comment on everyone else's blog, but we don't have the same privilege of commenting on yours...ahem.
