Hey Mama, Hey Mama

We "jam out" to this song EVERY time it comes on in the car.
It has become "our" song.
Makes me smile EVERY time.

I know, one thing, that I love you!
I love you, I love you, I love you!

Definitely, the best luck this mama's EVER had...

The Chocolate

I re-started the diet this week.
And as far as weight-loss goes - I did good.
I lost the 5 lbs I gained over the holidays.
But, it was NOT a good week for me: I was tired, exhausted, and unmotivated.
I was constantly thinking of all the food I couldn't have.
Mainly. the red velvet cake from the yummiest/cutest bakery around, The Chocolate.

Last night, Mike's parents took us to dinner.
Afterward, we took them to The Chocolate and I cheated, ate every bite of this beautiful cake.
YuM!
(And my scale stayed the same this morning, whew!)

My kids dig the cupcakes, especially Adilynn.
She goes straight for the pineapple coconut EVERY time and ALWAYS manages to get the whipped cream frosting ALL over her face.

Let's try this again...

Imagine this:

I'm at work(American Eagle, floor-set), its roughly 7am, there are piles of clothes everywhere and Chad has his "tunes" playing in the background. These tunes consisted of mostly 90's hits and had us all reminiscing in one way or another. Then on comes Madonna singing "Vogue" and Chad yells to me "Kac, its your song!" I listened, and thought, got a little embarrassed and...nothin'! Not for the life of me could I figure out why on earth he would call this my song. After an awkward silence he says, "Ya know, your blog!"

And there it is-the wake up call! I put that song on my blog to go with school clothes pictures. School started in August. Vogue is NOT my favorite song, not even close. I suck. I should update.

And here we are, almost a month later but here nonetheless! 2010 has been good to me so far. I've set some goals, simple ones, and kind of stuck to them. Life is still crazy but not the chaos we ended 2009 with and that's what I was shooting for. I wish I could go back and recap all the fun stuff we did this fall, Mikes parents coming home from South Africa, Thanksgiving full of family, our last minute Disney trip and our chaotic/magical Christmas. But, that would require time/stress/pressure which doesn't fit in with the goals for 2010. So, let's pick up here and try once again...

One of my favorite things in 2010 is Project Life. {Thanks Steph!} Here are a few of our POTD's (picture of the day) to give you a quick update of our year to date...
